1. After landing at the airport, you can easily find the service counter in the arrival hall. Detailed English signs can help you find the direction. According to your situation, you are suggested to buy the Standard Octopus Card.
2. For per card, the deposit is 50 HKD and the initial stored value is 100 HKD. Then you can recharge more money for your 8 weeks trip.
3. This card can be widely used when you taking public transportations, such as Airport Express, bus, subway, taxi and ferry. You can enjoy some discounts. In addition, you can also use it to buy some things in convenient stores.
4. If you wanna take AE to reach Kowloon Station, you can buy the tickets at the service counter of Airport Express.
5. You can just buy the single ticket to Kowloon. The ticket fare is 90 HKD per person.
6. The operating hours are from 05:54 to 00:48 with the interval of around 10 mins.
7. Yes, you can arrive at Kowloon Station first. Then take a cab to the destination. The cab fare is 60 HKD to 70 HKD in the day time.
8. You can find a convenient store nearby your living places. Generally speaking, these places provide SIM Card. There are many kinds of combos and the fares are different from each other. You'd better consult the seller for detailes.

Indians can stay in HK visa-free for 14 days. If applying for extension, she can stay for 14 more days. But it is impossible to stay for 8 weeks only with the passort. So she needs to apply for a tourist visa in advance.

Hey there, thanks for the reply. How about doing the below;
An Indian passport holders enters HK and thereafter exits HK on the 13th day to Macau. He or she re-enters HK from Macau on the same evening or the next day, does the calculation of 14 days start again from day 1 upon re-entry. In short is a new visa of fresh 14 days applicable if the person exits HK to Macau and enters back from Macau to HK.

Can you please advise on the above.

Saral, each time she reenters, she can stay freely for 14 days, but I still advise you to apply a tourist visa for her because there are some chances that she may be stopped by the immigration officer if she frequently exits and enters.

Thank you very much again for the reply. We did enquire about this at the immigration department. They said re-entry will give her 14 days. And we are planning to go to Macau only for once. So they are fine with it. I really appreciate your reply. Thanks.
