About:

How can I go to Yunnan University and Kunming Science and Tech University?

I will stay at The Hump Hostel.
I wish to visit Daguan Park, Dianchi Lake, Cuihu Lake, Guandu Ancient Town, Stone Forest. Which one that I can combine the visit in one day?

1. To Yunnan University, do you refer to the main campus in Wuhua District?
If yes, from your hotel, take bus no.4, get off at Gulou Road Station. Then walk northwest around 250 yards (220 meters).
2. To Science and Tech University, take bus no.98 to get to West Gate of this university. Then walk south around 60 yards (50 meters).
3. I'm afraid that you need at least two days to tour around these scenic areas.
Day 1: Cuihu Lake - Daguan Park - Guandu Ancient Town
Day 2: Stone Forest - Dianchi Lake
To be honest, the second is also very tight as Stone Forest is so amazing and located a little bit far from downtown. If time permits, you can spare another day in that city.

For day 8: Although all the spots are located in the downtown area, but one day is still not enough to cover all of them. I suggest you give up one of them, Yuantong Temple.

For day 9: it is the same case, your time is not enough. The stone forest may takes most of the day, and you may still have some time for Jinbi Square/Zhengyi Road/Jinmabiji Square, but not for Nancheng Mosque, Shuncheng Mosque and Jinniu Mosque.

For day 10: If you need to be at the airport at least at 2, I’m afraid your plan for the last day is not feasible. You should not only cancel Guandu, but also Dragon gate. I suggest you visit western hill in the morning, and then ask a taxi to escort you to the airport directly.

According to your limited time, you are suggested to cancel Guandu Ancient Town. In addition, you had already tour around other two ancient towns. So to be honest, it's not necessary for you to tour around Guandu.

This is my rough itinerary for 3 days. Do you think it is doable?

Day 8 :
Arrival - Staying at Upland IYH
Cuihu Lake, Yunnan Nationalities Musem, Yuantong Temple, Daguan Park

Day 9 :
Staying at The Hump Hostel
Shilin Forest Stone
Nancheng Mosque, Shuncheng Mosque, Jinniu Mosque
Jinbi Square/Zhengyi Road/Jinmabiji Square

Day 10 :
Guandu Ancient Town
Western Hill & Dragon Gate
Go back to Kuala Lumpur
I have to be at the airport at least at 2. Do you think I should just cancel Guandu?

Thank you. Is Guandu worth to visit? Since I will be visiting the old town in Shangrila and Lijiang too.
