About:China Visa

As a Canadian, am I able to apply China Z Visa from the Philippines?

Good day

I am a Canadian residing in the Philippines since 2011.
I have not been back in Canada since 2012.
I have no address in Canada and I have no family in Canada
I am an ROV pilot in the Oil & Gas industry.
I have a Philippines Driver’s License and NBI clearance as well as a yearly lease on an apartment in Alona Beach.
I have 2 bank accoutns (Metrobank and BPI)
I own a house in Leyte and I am engaged to be married with a Filippina
My passport has been issued out of Manila.
My status on my ACR I-card is still tourist until I get married.
I need to process an application for a Z type.
Can I apply in Manila

Richard, yes, you are able to apply for it in Manila because you have lived there for a long time, and you have bank accounts and real estate there.

Hi Mary

I do have bank accounts and real estate and NBI clearance but I have been here on tourist visas since 2009, as I am getting married later this year I am still on a tourist extension, until the end of the year.

Do you think they will still consider my application and give me my visa?
I really cant do it in Canada as I have no more address in Canada!

Hi Mary
My letter of invitation issued out if china by CNOOC will be addressed to the Manila Chinese embassy .... Will that help my case in the eyes of the visa officer?
