About:Guangzhou Transportation

Any Airport bus from Guangzhou Baiyun airport to Tianhe hotel after midnight?

I will be arriving at 1am and am thinking of staying at Tianhe, below are my queries :
1) if there is still airport bus to Tianhe, which hotel in Tianhe they will stop at so I can consider to book the hotel
2) if there isn't any airport bus to Tianhe, can advise me which area the airport bus will stop at so I can book one of the stop by hotel
3) how long is the journey from airport to Tianhe or which ever place the airport bus will bring us to during midnite
4) I have also consider to stay at the airport hotel Pullman but the rates is to high, any other airport hotel t suggest?
Please help as I think I am lost in decision now. Thank you

At that time, there is no shuttle bus leading to Tianhe district. I suggest you live near the main railway station, where you can have easy access to a lot of selections on accommodation and transportation. The shuttle bus line 1 leads to the train station, and it will be in operation till the last flight ends. The bus ride is about 35 mins.
Near the airport south subway station, there is a Fuxing Business Apartment Hotel, you can call this number to make a booking, 020-36326247.

Hi Grace.........thank you very much for your advise. So meaning I can now start to search for hotel near Guangzhou East station and take the Airport Shuttle Bus Line 1 to the last station (Aviation Ticket Office (Railway Station) is it?

By the time we reach Guangzhou East Train Station will be around 2am, is the place very dark and quiet? Is it safe to walk or take a taxi from there to the hotel?

Sorry, 1 more curious question, I often saw the web indicating "New Baiyun International Airport" but the airport i arrive will be Baiyun International Airport, how many airport are there in GZ?

1. You are suggested to find a hotel nearby Main Railway Station, not East Railway Station. Upon landing, you can still catch shuttle bus line 1 to there.
2. Generally speaking, you don't need to worry about the safety problem. After getting off the shuttle bus, you can take a taxi to your hotel directly. This is a safer way.
3. These two airports are the same. And the airport just has one terminal building. Don't worry. And take it easy. :-)
