zhabei station shanghai to temple of soul's retreat by bullet train.

Hello. travelling on Nov. 18, can I do this trip in one day back to Shanghai for dinner time? What timetable would you suggest and how long is the travel time? i will be travelling with my mother. Do I need additional taxi's and if so, where to and from.

Hi, Mina. Do you mean Zhabei Park Station by "Zhabei Station"? Well, you can do this trip in one day.

You may set off at around 6:30, and take a subway to Hongqiao Railway Station. Next, take a bullet train to HZ. Upon arrival, take subway line 1, get off at Longxiangqiao Station, and leave from Exit B3. Afterwards, take bus line 7 from Dongpolu Pinghai Lukou Station, and get off at Lingyinsi Station.

The bullet train to HZ is available from 6:19 to 21:31, while the train back to Shanghai is available from 6:10 to 22:26. The train duration is about 1 hour, and the total travel time is around 2.5 hours. You needn't take a taxi because the subway and bus are pretty convenient.
