About:China Visa Exemption

Can we use the Direct transit to visit Beijing? Is there a fee? How do we proceed?

Me and my boyfriend will be in Beijing in transit (from Stockholm to Manila with Air China) for one Day 10 am to 8 pm. We are Swedish citizens. Do we need to collect our bags? Do we need to talk to the Airline in Stockholm?

Thank you!

Sara, both of you are qualified for 72 hours free transit. You do not need to inform the airline in advance. Upon arrival, you can follow the direction boards to reach the window where you can proceed the free transit. It's for free.

As for your luggage, you'd better consult with your airline whether it will be directly transferred to Manila directly.
