About:China Transit Visa

Transiting in Guangzhou

Hi, I am Indonesian holding Indonesian passport. My flight will have 22hrs transit at Baiyun Intl Airport. I already know that I will able to get 24hrs transit visa at no charge. Which is awesome.

My question is, can I leave mainland china to Hongkong and reenter mainland and get back again to Baiyun Intl Airport within 24hrs using the free transit?

Dave, you can't go to HK during your transit. If you plan to leave the airport, you should apply for a stay permit. And you are only allowed to go to the territory within Guangzhou.
