About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi, I'm American traveling from Phuket to Beijing (48 hour layover) to Chicago.

Do I need a visit for the time in China?

CJ, if you just stop over in one Chinese city and you fly in and fly out, then you don't need the transit visa.
