About:Datong Attractions

Taiyuan to Datong

we need some advise if there is some last minute to visit DT for 2 days 1 night without
any booking of hotel(small/cheap) near the railway station. 4 of us are ladies.

1) Which Taiyuan railway station can reach DT station?
2)Any problem if we just check in hotel without any booking?
3)Any good and reasonable tour package price just to visit the Hanging Monastery/Wooden Pogoda and
Yungang Grottoes for 1 day.

1. Take a train at Taiyuan Railway Station.
2. If traveling during slack season like Nov. and Dec. it is ok to check in on the spot. In the periods, hotels are not in great need.
3. Generally, many hotels arrange one-day tour for their guests. You may ask your hotel for help. Additionally, I joined a tour arranged by Travel China Guide, a great travel agency. They may help you with this. For quotation and details, you can contact them through traveltravelchinaguide.com!
