Yes, it is quite safe to take the subway at night, but you need to transfer and walk a lot if taking the subway.From the hotel, walk about 250 yards to Xinjinqiao Road station to take the bus No. 961 to Lujiazui Station. Upon arrival, walk about 0.6 miles to the bund area.
