About:China Transit Visa
As a canadian, am I able to fly to Guangzhou then take the bus to hong kong to fly out?

Nic, you can fly to Guangzhou and then take a bus to Hong Kong. If you have a bus ticket from Guangzhou to Hong Kong and you stay over in Guangzhou for not more than 24 hours, you don't need the transit permit. Otherwise, you need to get one transit permit in advance.0
