About:Hong Kong Bus

What is the bus number and fare to get to Hong Kong Mongkok from Tai O?

I understand that I need to take a ferry ride too? How much is the fare, how many minutes, and what station to station?

Well, you don't have to take the ferry.
If take it, you can get to Tuen Mun Ferry Pier first. Then transfer to bus no.59X to Mong Kok Road. The whole way takes around 165 mins. It costs 32.8 HKD per person.

Or from Tai O, you can take bus no. 11 to get to Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal first. Then take bus no.E21 to Sai Yeung Choi Street South. After arriving, walk southwest around 300 yards. The travel time is around 120 mins. The ticket fare is 25.8 HKD per person.
