About:Guizhou Travel

To tour scenic areas around Guiyang/Anshun region, which is a better place to use as base?

I intend to tour free-and easy using public transport or taxi or event use tour package but not sure which of the 2 cities to use as starting point. John

Well, you are suggested to start from Guiyang. To be honest, Guiyang is more flourishing than Anshun. So it's easy for you to find nice and cheap accommodations. In addition, the transportation between Guiyang and Anshun is convenient. There are many direct trains every day. The travel time is only about 1.5 hours. FRom Guiyang, there are also public buses to some nearby scenic sites.

Hi, you are suggested to visit Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village. It is located at northeast part of Leishan county, Guizhou province. You can take train from Guiyang Railway station to Kaili Railway station, then take direct bus from there to it.
