About:Hong Kong International Airport Transfer

HKIA to Guangzhou transportation

Hi there,

I am landing in Hong Kong at 2:30pm on the 3rd of November and I need to get to Guangzhou for Canton Fair. What is the easiest and quickest way to get there? Should I go into the centre of HK and catch the train or can I catch a train or a ferry from the airport directly?

There is no need to take a transfer in downtown area. I suggest you take a ferry to Guangzhou Lianhuashan Port within 100min (300HKD per person for an economy class cabin). Due to your arrival time, you may catch the schedule of 16:00. Upon getting to Guangzhou, take a taxi to Canton Fair Complex in 30-40min at a cost of CNY80-85.

Alternatively, directly take a coach from HKIA to Guangzhou Haizhu District. Then transfer to a taxi to the destination at a cost of CNY40 or around and it takes 15-20min. And the bus takes around 4h and the cost is 250HKD.
