Guangzhou south railway to airport, which lines?

Hi,

I'm coming from Guilin and will arrive at GZ south railway. Which line do I take from here to get to the airport and do you know the cost?

You can take the subway Line 2 first to Jiahewanggang and then change to Line 3 to the Airport South. It would cost CNY9 and about 90min.

Is there a bus that goes direct from the railway to the airport do you know? That might be a little quicker?

There is no direct bus available between, or you may need a taxi instead. If the traffic is good, it may take around 1 hour.
