About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Divorced and Visa running up...

I've gotten two residence purpose (tanqin 探亲) but am currently divorced. Is it possible in any way to renew this with my marriage certificate and effectively trick them? Where are the requirements for getting a Tanqin residence permit?

Erich, if you are in PRC now, there is some possiblity that you can renew your residence permit. If you are in your country, it's impossible to get it with this marriage certificate. However, I still don't advise you to trick them. If they find out you have already divorced, your residence permit may get cancelled.
