About:China Visa on Arrival

is my Residency Permit still Valid and Can I use it to return or should I get another Visa?

I started working for a University in China in March 2015. I went on a Z type and got my residency permit. Which is valid until January. I was unable to return to the University do to an Illness. They since said they have Voided my Contract and all the documents that they issues.

Scott, it depends on what they have done. If they report your situation to local PSB, then I am afraid that local PSB already cancelled your resident permit. To play it safe, you'd better apply for another entry permit for your return.
