hi. i have to catch an afternoon flight from jiuzhaigou back to to chengdu on 26th nov.

Question

Can I rely on the airport shuttle bus service to take me there on time? Or  does it depends whether there is enough passengers to fill up the bus before it moves? Also where can I catch this bus? Is there a designated place in town? Thank you

The shuttle buses usually leave when all seats are taken. So if it is not filled, you may need to wait for a long time. Anyway, it leaves from Jiutong Bus Station, within 5-10min from the entrance of the valley. Considering all, it is best to hire a car or taxi instead. It takes 1.5h to the airport and the cost is around 250RMB.
