i am female rat and my live in partner is a rooster male. Are we compatible?

we are not married yet but we have two kids. Planning to get married by 2018.

Well, Chinese zodiac doesn't tell you are compatible. It says that you two may not sustain a harmonious relationship because both sides have their own personalities and never compromise. If you two get along very well currently, I think you needn't take zodiac prediction seriously.
