Dear sir, I would like to visit Hong Kong for 7days with my family (3 adults). So what kind of entry permit I need to apply and how long it will take?

Hi, you can apply a tourist type from the China embassy in your country or through the HK Immigration Department. Normally speaking, if the embassy itself handles your application, it only takes four working days. If they transfer your application to HK side, you need to wait for about a month.
