we're two senior citizens.what octopus card in HK suitable, utility, flexibility, refund basis?

How many days you planned to stay in HK?
If it is around 3 days, you can buy the Airport Express Travel Pass. It has one or two Airport Express single journey (s) plus 3 consecutive days of unlimited travel on MTR.

It it is more than 3 days, the Standard Card is a better choice. For per card, the deposit is 50 HKD and the initial stored value is 100 HKD.
