About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Travelling Dehli-Shanghai-UK with a change of aircraft in Dubai each way. Can I use the 72hr visa?

I have a UK passport departing the UK for Delhi before going onto Shanghai and then returning to the UK. My flight from Delhi to Shanghai and then back to the UK require a change of aircraft in Dubai but I will not be leaving the airport.

Hi, Martin. I’m afraid you can’t enjoy the 72 hours rule because according to what you said above, you fly into Shanghai from Dubai and fly out to Dubai, the route is not eligible for the rule.
