About:Kunming Travel

shopping in Kunming City

I am visiting for six days in November. I am very much interested in buying DVDs on China(documentary) and other good chinese films with sub title in English. I understand that there are video shops not far from the Yunnan University. Please let me know how to reach that place from Enjoying International Hotel(near the railway station) by bus or on foot.Please let me know if there are other good DVD shops close to my hotel.

Please also let me know the road to Walmart super centre from our Hotel. Is it possible for me to walk the distance?

I know the Wheat Field Bookstore (Maitian Bookstore) sells DVDs, near the west gate of Yunnan University. You may take bus line 64, get off at Shifan Daxue (Normal University) Station, and walk south for about 219 yards (200 meters). As I know, the Xinghuo Video Shop at no.4 on Kunqian Road and the Jincai Video Store at no. 204 on Wujing Road are near your hotel.

There is a Walmart Super Center at no. 287 on Chuncheng Road. Walk south along the Chuncheng Roadfor about 1,094 yards (1,000 meters), cross a footbridge, and you will find the Walmart to your opposite.
