Get longer stay in china for friend?

Im studying in PRC and a friend wanna come over and visit me. i got a studying visa permited for 180 days.
Is it possible for me to make her an invitation letter?
Is it possible for her to stay longer than 30 days, 60-90 days? how do we make that happen?
