About:China Student Visa

Is it possible to obtain a Residence Permit on an X2 (less than 180 days) Visa?

If applying for a residents permit on an X2 type, is one able to apply for a residence permit for the same duration? Or they don't issue them for this kind of entry permit?

Hi, Ayala. Actually, there is no need for you to obtain a residence permit. X2 type is enough for you.

Thanks for your answer. I've been told that is no needed but in that case I won't be able to go out of the country and I would like to do some traveling. As far as I know only the residence permit allows you multiple entries.

Well, if you only have one entry on the X2 type, after you exit, you have to apply for another one outside China.
