Are there subway stations below Beijing Road, Kunming?

Is subway travel faster and cheaper than city Buses? How many stations from north rail station to Dongfeng Square and its fare ?

Yes, South Huancheng Road Metro Station is located below Beijing Road.
Actually, taking subway is faster than public bus. But the ticket fare of bus is cheaper than subway in general. Start from North Railway Station, pass 3 stops and you will arrive at Dongfeng Square. The ticket fare is CNY 3 per person.
