I want to know1. Can the ticket be purchased in cash at cable car point or else advance booking is required.2. The payment can be done by octopus card

Yes, you can buy the cable ticket on spot with cash. But it is not recommended to do so, for there are always long queues at the ticket windows and it's totally a waste of time. And I'm afraid Octoups card is not accepted. If possible, you'd better book the ticket in advance from its official web.
