About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

I hold an American passport. Hired by a Chinese company.

When I get my Z working visa, how long will it take to get permanent residence card? With that permanent residence card, can I go 4-5 times per week to handle business needed for the PRC company?

Hi Mark, I think you have some misunderstanding on this issue. After you get the Z type, you cannot get permanent residence card. Actually, what you need to get is a temporary residence card and you need to get it within one month after your arrival. Withi this residence permit, you can go frequently to PRC without the need for applying entry permits.
