Hi, the Gangding area is the best place to go. Take subway line 3 and get off at Gangding. Walk onto Tianhe Road, and you can find several great markets for genuine electronics like Pacific Market, Tianhe Market and Ego Digital City.

If more selections and better prices, I'd suggest you go to Huaqiang North Commercial Area in Shenzhen for these things. Many Chinese and foreigners go there for electronic items retail and wholesales.
