Ferry is a little complicataed. I suggest you take Kwun Tong Line at Prince Edward Station, get off at Mong Kok Station. Then transfer to Tsuen Wan Line to Central Station. After that, walk to Lower Cable Car Terminal and take it to the Peak directly.
And yes, you can go to the Peak at that time.

If you still wanna take the ferry, you can take Tsuen Wan Line from Prince Edward Station to Tsim Sha Tsui Station first. Then take the ferry to Central Pier. After that, walk to the Cable Car Terminal and take it to the destination.
