Which visa is better for me？

I have a chinese wife and we are married for 1 month . I want to stay in china. Please somebody help me

You can apply for the Q1 type, which requires your marriage certificate, an invitation letter from your wife and a photocopy of her ID card besides the basic documents like passport, passport copy, application form, and passport style photo.

Thank you Brian. Do you have any idea about the days it will take? You think its possible to get it for less than one month? And lastly, can i get that Q1 type inside PRC? Because as of now i have a tourist L type for 30 days.

Well, since you are now in PRC, the things become different. It's possible that you can change the L type to a Q1 type at the local exit and entry administration office. This process takes seven working days at most. Then you should apply for a residence permit, which takes 15 working days at most. So I think it's possible to complete all the formalities in one month.
