About:Beijing Great Wall

hi may i know how long it takes from jianguo hotel to badaling by train / bus ?

will the place be open on dec 5th? and what is the possibility of snowing at the wall during my visit?

It takes around 40 minutes from Jianguomen to Jishuitan Station. Then you need to walk around 5 to 10 minutes to reach Deshengmen Bus Station. There you can take bus no. 877 to the wall. It takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach the wall by bus. However, you might queue for boarding the bus if there are many tourists. So I guess you need to prepare around 3 hours at least.
