About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

issues about bank account

Im planning to visit china, & not really sure where to go for visit. but im worried about a bank account coz i dont have it. do I still need to open account? What if I have cash, how much it would be? Thank u & more power.

Jehane, I don't advise you to open an account now because the consular officers needs to see your bank statement for the latest six months. If you provide a new account, it won't make sense. You can provide other materials, like your income tax return form, work certificate, salary slip, etc.
