Copy of Hong Kong Birth Certificate

Hello, I am a U.S. citizen born in Hong Kong. I am currently residing in France. Recently, I have misplaced my Hong Kong birth certificate. Unfortunately, I do not have a duplicate copy of it. Would it be possible to request a copy at the Chinese embassy in Paris?

Lailai, you should request the copy from HK Immigration Department. It costs around HKD 140 and takes 9 to 14 days. If you have any question, please make a call at (852) 3128 8668.
