We will actually be there 74 hours, but it sounds like this qualifies?  also, we have an 8 hour excursion by car to Dujiangyan Panda Base on May 2 leaving and returning the same day to our hotel in chengdu.  do we qualify?  thanks

Hi Katherine! Do you plan to fly from Hanoi to Chengdu and then back to Hanoi? If so, you can't avail yourself of the 72-hour visa free policy. The layover time is OK and you can go to the Panda Base. However, your route is not eligible.
