About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Transit Duration

Does anyone have experience? Please help...

I arrive in Shanghai @ 4:55am Thursday Morning and have departing flight to Hong Kong @ 10am on Sunday from Shanghai.

This is apparently 72 Visa allowance + 5 Hours apparently they will refuse entry if I do this and wont give me transit permit and it is not in the fixed duration.

Please assist.

Hi, Peter! As the 72-hour visa-free periond starts from the midnight following your arrival in Shanghai, you qualify for the 72-hour free transit policy. There should be no problems.
