Seniors discount & service charge

Are there any discounts for foreign visitors (seniors ) travelling on the high speeds.
If I personally buy ticket from railway station, am I still charged the service fee of CNY40??

There is no discount for the senior passengers. If you buy it on spot by yourself, there will be service fee.
