About if hard seat is forbidden for foreinger

Hi everyone.
I just heard that in some trains routes travelling with a hard seat tickets is forbidden for foreigner.
I feel it strange but I have a hard seat ticket from Chengdu to Kunming next week and I need to be warned.
Does anyone knows about this?

Hi, I have never heard about this news. There is no such policy of seat class limitation posted by authority.
