huanglong back to chengdu

Question

Hi . i was wondering if there is an another way back to Chengdu from Huanglong  without having to go back to Jiuzhaigou and  take the same bus route back to the city. I am willing to break my journey and  stay one night before proceeding to Chengdu. Maybe somewhere in the Mt Siguniang area if there are any places with accomodation and transport.

Huanglong is far from Siguangniangshan and there is no direct transport; It takes at least 7-8 hours on the way. So you’d better give up the plan.There is also no direct transportation from Huanglong to CD. You need to make a transfer at Chuanzhusi. There are many accommodations there, so no worry. To Chuanzhusi: you can take the bus to Jiuzhaigou and get off on the way in Chuanzhusi. I remember there is a schedule at around 15:00. There are also many private cars available for this route; it takes about CNY 150 for a single trip. To save money, you can share one with others. Chuanzhusi to CD, bus schedules are at 06:20, 06:30 and 06:40. Ticket fare is CNY 115 and duration is about 6.5 hours.
