About:China Train

Bus from Xichang to Lijiang after rail from Chengdu to Xichang

I want to go from Chengdu to Lijiang by rail, but it's seem like there are no direct one, so I think about take a rail from Chengdu to Xichang then I take a bus from Xichang to Lijiang. Is it possible?

There is one bus available departs from Xichang Long distance bus center at 8am. The price is about CNY179. You woud need to arrive there a little early to buy the ticket there.

Well, this is a little hard to say in fact. The online says the road condition is not good and would need at least 10 hours, or even like 14.
