Bus from shanghai to tangkou

Hi would like to know is there a need to buy the shanghai to tangkou bus tickets in advance & if so how long in advance?

Yes, I suggest you book the ticket in advance, for there are only a few direct buses available from South Bus Station to the scenic area. You can make a booking through your hotel, and you can reserve the ticket about 17 days at most in advance.

Unless you travel during weekends or Chinese holidays, or you don't need to book the ticket in advance.
