Does an Australian 2 pin adapter plug fit the Chinese 3 pin power point?

Bob, I am afrad you can't because China has implemented new standards. You need to buy an adapter. It can be found at most Chinese super markets.0

I'm finding this confusing as this website shows AU and NZ fit Chinese plugs, only the voltage is different, which isn't an issue as it's lower than AU. Is this something that has recently changed. We're travelling to China in 3 weeks
