About:China Student Visa

Haven't recieved JW202 yet.

Have got an admission in CMU Beijing but I haven't yet recieved my JW202 letter. I asked for it and the administration staff at the university told me that it's under process and it has to be signed by some governmental authorities ,then they'll send it to me along with admission notice.
Can anyone tell me how much I have to wait for it.. It's already been 4 weeks .

Ali, generally speaking, the Foreigner Affairs Office needs seven working days for approving the JW202 letter application after your scholl has submitted the required documents. Wait patiently and I believe you will receive it soon.

If you have called the school and they have confirmed its been processed be patient ... Others even take longer

Thanks guys for your replies!! I called the university and they told me that it's now sent to some security bureau . They haven't told me much in detail . Anybody gone through this already ??
