Song brocade silk and linen buying in Suzhou

HI, thanks for your recommendations. I understand about the silk museum. However, is there a place to buy song brocade silk and linen by the meter? Is there a silk fabric or textile market? I've walked the streets and see many clothing stores/boutiques selling silk garments. However, I'm especially looking to buy song brocade silk and linen by the meter and make my own garments. Thanks!

Oh, I understand. You should go to the fabric market but not the clothes market. I know several large textile markets in the city, you can have a try.
Shengze Fabric Market, located at Shichang Road, Shengze town.
Nanfang Fabric Market, located at No. 43 Zhaoshang Road.
Hope you can find waht you want there.
