About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Im flying LAX to HND..leave the same day from NRT to Chengdu and then back to NRT..

my tickets are LAX-HND (rt) and NRT-Chengdu (rt)...would this qualify for the 72 hr. transit visa?

Hi Jan! As you fly from Japan to Chengdu and then back to Japan directly, this route is not considered as transit, so you don't qualify for the 72-hour free transit service.
