Hi Hendrik, are you a Malaysian citizen? If yes, I'm afraid you cannot take advantage of the 72-hour free transit because your country is not listed among the 51 qualified countries.

Hi, no I have Euope (EU) passport. My main question is if I am allowed to leave Beijing (train towards Taijin) or do I have to book direct flight to Taijin (more difficult to find good connection) with these 72 hours.

If you fly into Beijing, you can´t leave the city border for Tianjin.
