About:China Visa Exemption

I am a french citizen living in Hong Kong, I would like to visit Beijing for less than 72 hours.

Do I need a visa or the 72-hour-free-transit applies??

If you will go to a third country after visiting Beijing, you are eligible for the 72-hour free transit policy.
