About:China Civil Aviation - Regulations & Security Check

How much money I can carry?

Hi, can somebody please tell me that how much Chinese yuan I can carry when traveling to China, do I need to show exchange receipt also ?

Stanny, you can take as much as 20000 RMB in cash. If you carry more than 20000 RMB, then you should declare at the customs and then let the customs officer deal with your case. You might be fined a certain amount of money if taking more than 20000 RMB.
