advice on visiting emei shan

Question

I read that it is not possible to visit Emei Shan in one day so I was planning to do it in two days. BUT I would prefer NOT to sleep in the mountain (I hate sleeping on cold weather). So my plan was: 1) Day 1: go up and back, sleep in Baoguo village and then 2) Day 2: spend another day again up in the mountain. How do you recommend to organize day 1 and day 2?ThanksSteve

Actually, it is not that cold to stay up in the mountain, as most hotel rooms are equipped with air-conditioners. Also, if you stay overnight at mountain foot and go up next day, it will be a waste of time. But if you insist, here is a tour route for your two days sightseeing.Day 01: Hike to Wannian Temple, Bailongdong, Qingyinge, Yixiantian, Heilongjiang Plank Road, wild monkey area. Then go back to Baoguo Village.Day 02: Take the sightseeing bus to reach Leidongping directly, then hike to Golden Summit. See the cloud sea. After back to Leiping Dong, take a bus or hike down to the mountain.
