Hanging Monastery and Yuyuang Grottoes in one day

Hello,

Is it possible to visit the Yuyang Grottoes and Hanging monastery in one day and then return to Datong by 7pm?

No, it is impossible to cover these two places by public transportation in one day, for they are far from each other, about 60 miles.

If you hire a car and set off in the early morning, you can make it. Anyway, you will be pressed for time, one and half day for the sightseeing is most appropriate.
